The all-new 2022 Nissan Qashqai, Kanata now has more muscular, sharp, and modern features. The body stance has been enhanced with a longer wheelbase and more prominent shoulder lines. There’s also now available two-tone colour options. 20-inch wheels are introduced for the first time on the Qashqai. The v-shape grille has been visually enhanced and it now includes chrome and satin chrome edges. The advanced matrix headlights have been made thinner.Exterior
The 2022 Qashqai has an all-new face with a v-shape grille with futuristic LED headlights shaped like boomerangs. There’s great attention to detail as the Qashqai logo has been imprinted on the front side bumper. The bumper has floodlights at the bottom, and there are airflow compartments also now included at each side of the bumper.The SUV is 4.43 meters in length, and it’s 35 millimetres longer than its predecessor. The wheelbase has been increased by 20 millimetres for increased cabin space. The vehicle can be purchased in 11 colours and 16 combinations in total.
The back has LED lights that have a similar design to the front lights, and there’s also a spoiler that gives the 2022 Nissan Qashqai, Kanata an aggressive cool look. The back bumper also has an aluminum finish.
The wheels come in 17-inch, and 20-inch diamond-cut finishes with a beautiful design and Michelin tires.
Interior
The trunk space has been increased from the predecessor with 50-litres making a trunk space a whopping 480-litres. The trunk also includes hooks for shopping bags and an additional 8-volt power outlet.The cabin has been smartly designed with extensive attention to detail. The interior looks expensive and durable. The front seats have heating and lumbar support settings. All models from the SV upwards have a moonroof.
The internal layout of the centre console has changed, and the air vents have now been placed below the touchscreen. The cabin provides space for cup holders, ample extra storage space in the doors, and storage space in the centre armrest.
Technology and Safety Features
The driver has a 12.3-inch digital cockpit. Nissan Intelligent Mobility is installed as standard. The centre touchscreen comes in 8-inches or 9-inches, depending on what model you purchase. The touchscreen has shortcuts for various functions. You can purchase the SUV in a six-speed manual or the Xtronic CVT.The 2022 Nissan Qashqai, Kanata comes with Full Safety Shield 360 Technologies. Trims include blind-spot warning systems, rear-view cameras, automatic braking, and emergency braking.
