2023 Nissan Murano | Features & Price in Canada
The Murano has been a fixture in Nissan’s lineup since 2003. This midsize crossover SUV has always held its head up with bold styling and a comfortable five-person drive.
What’s New For 2023
Nissan has brought out a few minor changes for the Murano for 2023. There are some new Nissan logos and two new exterior colours: Super Black and Deep Ocean Blue Pearl.
The Midnight Edition package includes 20-inch black wheels, illuminated door sills, and black exterior trim.
Other than these changes, the 2023 Murano appears similar to the 2022 version.
Engines & Fuel Economy
The Murano comes standard with a gas-powered 3.5-litre V6 engine coupled with Nissan’s Xtronic continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT). This combination delivers consistent power with no noticeable gear changes except when accelerating hard. The engine responds well to the pedal with plenty of ability to pass slower vehicles safely.
The driving experience in the Murano has always been excellent. It handles well, and the stopping power is more than adequate for the vehicle’s size and weight.
The Murano has industry standard fuel consumption with city driving set at 12 L/100km and 8.5 L/100km on the highway.
Infotainment & Technology
The 8-inch touchscreen has a crisp, clear image and is very intuitive to operate. From the SL model and up, an 11-speaker Bose audio system provides excellent sound quality. The infotainment system has smartphone integration with both Apple and Android options. Nissan Connect and a navigation system are also included.
The Murano has Nissan’s Standard Safety Shield, which includes driver assistance features such as hazard warning, rear cross-traffic warning, automatic rear braking, and adaptive cruise control.
