The 2026 Nissan Armada is back with more power, more attitude and a fresh take on full-size SUV luxury. Nissan introduced a Nismo version that pushes 460 horsepower and adds sport-tuned accents, forged 22-inch wheels and racier interior details. The standard 3.5-litre twin turbo V6 now delivers 425 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque, replacing the older V8 while giving better efficiency. The exterior got fresh lighting, sharper body lines and a cleaner grille design, while the cabin now features dual 14.3-inch screens on all trims above base. Tech feels faster, more user-friendly and fully Google built in.
Tech That Feels Luxury Level
Infotainment is a major highlight. The Armada now features wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, built-in Google Maps, voice control and a premium 12-speaker Klipsch audio system. Physical buttons still remain under the screen, so you’re not hunting through menus while driving. Higher trims add head-up display, ProPilot 2.1 semi-autonomous driving and upgraded navigation.
Rugged but Refined Exterior
The Armada still has that bold, truck-based presence but looks more modern. Slimmer LED headlights, a reworked front fascia, new wheel options and available dark chrome accents make it pop on the road. The Pro 4X trim adds off-road tires, skid plates and red tow hooks for drivers who aren’t afraid of mud, snow or gravel.
Spacious Interior and Smart Cargo Layout
Inside, it feels upscale without being too flashy. Zero gravity front seats, available quilted semi-aniline leather and heated second row seats make long drives across Ontario comfortable. It seats up to eight, or seven with captain’s chairs. Cargo space is generous at 578 litres behind the third row and up to 1,594 litres with seats folded. Real buttons for climate and audio controls are still there, which Canadian buyers appreciate in cold winters.
Performance You Can Feel
The twin turbo V6 delivers smooth acceleration and serious towing abilities, up to 8,500 pounds. That’s perfect for hauling boats, snowmobiles or trailers around the Ottawa Valley or up north. All Wheel Drive is standard in Canada, paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. Fuel efficiency is rated at 13.7 L/100 km combined.
Safety and Awards
Every 2026 Armada includes forward collision mitigation, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, trailer sway control and a 360-degree camera system. Nissan Armada has earned recognition from 2022 to 2025, including IIHS Top Safety Pick Plus and a 4 star NHTSA rating. ProPilot 2.1 and head-up display are available on higher trims.
